Dr. Giannina Galliani

Dr. Galliani received her doctorate training in Lima, Peru, at the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia. After completing dental school, she worked in private practice in Peru for a year. In 2002 – 2003, she received postgraduate training in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Upon completing the program in Minnesota, she continued her postgraduate training with an additional year of Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Maryland, where she received special training in cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Galliani added a two-year pediatric dental specialty training at the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 2006. At Johns Hopkins Hospital, she received training in interdisciplinary care on the cleft lip and palate team. She also completed a two-year Pediatric Dental Fellowship at the University of Maryland, treating her own pediatric patients, and teaching pediatric dentistry to undergraduate and postgraduate dental students. Dr. Galliani has been in private practice since 2008 and has been serving the  Northern Virginia community since 2014.

Dr. Galliani enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and she likes cooking and traveling in her free time. She is also a Peloton fan!
